And the Susan Boyle issue...it's not that it's the most beautiful voice or the most stunning rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" that I've ever heard. Rather, it's the fact that someone so plain -- so unassuming and unpretentious -- can slap an audience (and its self-absorbed judges) into submission, proving that, once again, it's about the <em>music</em>: a lesson some <em>American Idol</em> lapdogs could stand to learn. That was the best part, IMO. Well it’s about time, sailor.
