Multifarious Musings

1. Mondays should be illegal.

2. Rainy days are much better than sunny ones. That’s why yesterday was beautiful.

3. Fleet Foxes just recently became my third favourite band in a matter of minutes. Here’s why.

4. I wish I had more money. And a car would be nice.

5. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is an excellent film. I like “smart” movies, and that is one of them.

6. Maybe I’ll get a nice (Nikon) DSLR camera for my birthday. Heh.

7. I now know three close friends/relatives who are thinking about or are purchasing a Mac. What is the world coming to!?

8. I like Kate Winslet even more in each new film I see her in.

9. Is there such a thing as chronic procrastination? Because if so, I think I have it.

10. Why is it that year after year I’m the only kid at school to have seen such classics as Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, North By Northwest, The Birds, etc? I say screw the popular non-funny stuff, like Superbad and American Pie and watch something worth your time.

11. I’m going to be “Uncle Sam” for a second time this Thursday when Gavin Paul is brought into the world!

12. The holidays are over and it’s back to school for me. Which reminds me, I have a thesis paper I need to be doing….

I am right there with you on great classic movies. Over break I watched North by Northwest, Vertigo, An Affair to Remember, The Childrens Hour, and the Twilight Zone marathon.

Also threw in several of my all time fav Gene Kelly musicals, and The Birds—love it.

@Megan: What you speak of is illegal! Of course I will do it.

Oh, and I’m pretty sure we were on the subject of Titanic for some reason, and I mentioned the fact that I can’t stand Leonardo DiCaprio. Ms. Winslet is a fine actress.
